- To develop confident, responsible, and self-directed young people who are prepared to become productive members and positive leaders within their families, schools, workplaces, churches, and communities.
- To preserve and promote the American shooting tradition and foster an appreciation for responsible citizenship, individual liberty, service, and the freedoms enjoyed by Americans.
- To honor Judeo-Christian principles in our approach to character development, recognizing the value of biblical teachings concerning integrity, responsibility, perseverance, humility, service, self-control, and respect for others. Scripture and biblical examples may occasionally be used to reinforce these principles. Membership does not require adherence to the Christian faith, but participants should understand and respect that these values are part of the culture of the Central Arkansas Hawkeyes.
- To create a safe, welcoming, challenging, and encouraging environment
where young people of varying backgrounds and experience levels can learn, grow, compete, build lasting relationships, and discover the value of disciplined effort.
