The Central Arkansas Hawkeyes is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with the mission of introducing youth and young adults to competitive shooting sports and firearms education.

With a focus on competitive rifle and pistol activities, we strive to offer youth, their parents, and adult volunteers the opportunities to become responsible, self-directed, and productive members of their local communities.  In the process we encourage the preservation of our uniquely American tradition and heritage, our American values, and our God granted freedoms.

The goals of the Central Arkansas Hawkeyes organization are as follows:

• To instruct youth and young adults in the fundamental principles of marksmanship and to provide opportunities for competition in the use of firearms
• To enhance the development of character and personal growth of youth through safe and educational involvement in shooting activities
• To teach the safe and responsible use of firearms and equipment, including sound decision making, self-discipline, and personal focus
• To promote the highest standards of safety, ethical behavior, and sportsmanship
• To promote strength within the family unit through joint participation in life-long recreational and competitive shooting activities

We believe that our goals perfectly align with those of our host organization, S7 Tactical & The Arkansas Gun Club.  All Hawkeyes leaders, instructors, coaches, and volunteers understand the mission, goals and objectives of our organizations and will strive to put them at the forefront of everything that we do.  It is our expectation that our program will transfer the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for our youth and young adults to learn, grow, and succeed!
