Meet the Organizations that make the Hawkeyes possible
Providing support to youth shooting sports
These organizations work tirelessly in the background and in the public policy trenches, to make sure that we have the ability to enjoy and appreciate our heritage recreationally, competitively, and in the most literal tradition of our Founding Fathers. They also strive to ensure that monetary support is available for clubs to utilize to grow and implement new programs. Our immediate local supporter and host, S7 Tactical Arkansas Gun club, has provided us with everything a club needs to survive: facilities, equipment, monetary, and moral support. Consider all of these organizations when looking for an organizations that supports local youth shooting sports.
Arkansas Rifle & Pistol Association
ARPA is a sanctioning agent for state NRA and CMP matches, promotes 2nd Amendment rights, and encourages youth shooting sports in Arkansas.
Arkansas Friends of NRA
Since day one, it has been a 100% grassroots effort fueled by a united front to secure the Second Amendment and raise money for the shooting sports.
S7 Tactical Arkansas Gun Club
Offers a safe, humble, relational community for our members to train with their firearms, hone their skills, and enjoy an American past time.
Providing competitive opportunities
We are associated with the following organizations because they provide us with training opportunities and matches, through which we get to compete at local, regional, and national levels.
Take pride in Daisy! Their National Match is a hawkeye tradition!
In 1955, Daisy wrote the first organized curriculum on shooting education. Over the years, Daisy has teamed with the U.S. Junior Chambers of Commerce, 4-H Shooting Sports, the American Legion, the National Rifle Association, Royal Rangers, the National Guard Youth Marksmanship Program as well as scout troops, camps and church youth groups to provide instructional material, equipment and complete training kits. Qualifying for the Daisy National BB Gun Championship Match takes practice, hard work, dedication and resourcefulness. The Hawkeyes program has qualified multiple teams in the last several years.
Arkansas 4-H offers more avenues for competition
With Faulkner County having great 4-H agents and volunteers, we get to take advantage of many more competitive opportunities hosted by the state organization. 4-H puts the emphasis on the experience and it's a great laid back, yet competitive atmosphere. They offer matches in a variety of disciplines and they even offer coaching certification, which is necessary we want to participate in their matches. The Hawkeyes' teams have represented Faulkner county very successfully in the 4-H programs.
For the ultimate shooting sports experience, there's the CMP: Civilian Marksmanship Program
The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is a national organization dedicated to training and educating U. S. citizens in responsible uses of firearms and airguns through gun safety training, marksmanship training and competitions. The CMP is a federally chartered 501(c)(3) corporation that places its highest priority on serving youth through gun safety and marksmanship activities that encourage personal growth and build life skills. We are honored to be part of this program as an affiliated club. The CMP promotes shooting sports at every level, from youth to adult, and from novice to expert!
