About Precision BB
Beginning BB is a youth shooting sports program that is sponsored nationally by Daisy, and also in the state by 4-H Shooting Sports. It is a four position competition (prone, standing, sitting, & kneeling) for youth who are at the beginning to intermediate level. The course of fire is 10 minutes for 10 shots in each position.
All competitors are required to use the same Daisy BB gun. It is the 499 Champion, which is a spring-air, lever action, single load bb gun.
There are two state level matches, and each match is a qualifier for the Daisy National Match. The top three placing teams in each of the state matches qualify for the national match. Our program has been fortunate enough to qualify several times within recent years.
